Hello!! I’m Miora, the founder of Little Tsena. Our small online store is dedicated to bringing the flavors of Madagascar to your doorstep.

Little Tsena was born out of my own need for Malagasy groceries that were nearly impossible to find in the U.S.
In 2021, while pregnant with my son, I had a strong craving for "Anamadinika sy henakisoa", a beloved Malagasy dish.
But there was one problem: it wasn’t available anywhere in the US, and with travel restrictions in place due to the pandemic, I couldn’t even ask my family in Madagascar to send it. After searching online and coming up empty-handed, my sweet aunt in France kindly mailed me a can of the ingredient, but as you can imagine, it came with a hefty price tag.

That experience sparked the idea for Little Tsena. I realized that there must be others like me, missing the flavors of home but unable to get the ingredients they crave.

Our mission is simple: to provide hard-to-find Malagasy groceries to those who are missing the flavors of Madagascar. Whether you’re craving a taste of home or simply want to explore Malagasy cuisine, we’re here to help you recreate those special meals—until you can make that trip back to Madagascar.
